Azimut Yachts 103S

Everyday we research the superyacht market, which goes very well, but we need your help! The most difficult part of the job is keeping track of the "Production Yachts". One of these series is the Azimut Yachts 103S, of which the first hull made her debut at the 2007 Dubai Yacht Show. We have the following list:
  • Azimut Yachts 103S /11 - Freedom - 2007
  • Azimut Yachts 103S /12 - Irisha - 2007
  • Azimut Yachts 103S /14 - Sultan of the Seas? And launched as Gulf Princess? - 2007
  • Azimut Yachts 103S /15 - .....
  • Azimut Yachts 103S /16 - .....
  • Azimut Yachts 103S /17 - .....
In addition to these hull numbers we also have some names of which we don't know the hull number:

  • Sultan of the Seas (previously Gulf Princess) - 2007
  • Paprika - 2008
  • Gogamigoga (photo) - 2008

Lürssen's Sunflower under sea trials

German ship photographer Thomas Rutka took some great photos of the 155m Lürssen Sunflower while under trials in Northern Germany last Tuesday.

The hull of Sunflower was constructed by SSW in Bremerhaven, who recently also completed the hull for another 110m Lürssen yacht, and she was completed by Lürssen in Bremen. It's still a mystery who designed the yacht....

The final name of the yacht, Sunflower is just a project name, will be revealed after delivery and this is not a first for Lürssen. The 138m Lürssen Al Salamah left her building dock under the name Mipos (which stands for Mission Impossible, referring to the short build time and the size of the yacht).

Sunflower is with her 155m the World's second largest yacht, after the 162m Dubai. More photos of Sunflower and Dubai can be found on Yacht-Images.com.

Unknown Cavalli styled yacht

The Genoa International Boat Show, held in October 2007, is always a popular venue for Italian shipyards to show off their latest models. One of these models was this Cavalli styled yacht with a sauna on her stern?!

cavalli stylist yacht

You can clearly see that she is inspired by Cavalli's own yacht, the 40m Baglietto RC, but I doubt that she was built by Baglietto. Here is photo of the yacht seen from the bow.

I would guess the yacht is somewhere between 27/30 meter and built in Italy. Please contact us or leave a comment if you have more information on this interesting yacht.
